Car just been delivered - looks good .....now fight for compensation!!! Who would have thought something which is a routine accident would have taken over 5 months??
Has anyone else had this problem? I am told this is all about Insurance companies outsourcing the claims with no one being responsible for managing the process. I know this is getting very boring but it has become a major part of our lives. The toll it has taken on use is hard to describe...doesn't anyone do a competent job these days...where is customer care?
Sure will feel more rational in the morning....

Car Crisis
Sadly have been neglecting my blog.....lots of things got in the way...mainly my car. After even more exchanges I have been assured that I will get me car today.
It is now the afternoon ....no call no arrival yet the feeling of doom is descending again.
Ever the optimist we got up early to make sure the hire car was topped up with fuel ready to go.....
It will be 5 months on Friday since the accident.....
Has anyone else experienced this ridiculous situation and more importantly was it resolved to your satisfaction ?

Car Crazy!!!
Remember my post regarding my car accident? October 14th 2014 I think......
The accident which was not our fault??
The repairs which should have taken no time?
Well now it is the 18th February 2015 and still no car!!!
There have been excuses, estimated deliveries, apologies, hire cars of various levels.....rows, emails, wrong parts....
latest Monday ....call re wheel ......good news we have it ....yeahhyyyy!!!
Bad news it is in chrome and doesn't match the others...........
I seem to be powerless to make someone do something!! my serene frame of mind on return from holiday in tatters!!
My insurance is organised by Swintons Insurance Brokers who are doing their best to liaise between Insurance Company and Quindells who are responsible for claim and repair as far as I can make out. They authorised a garage to do repairs ...... I can't explain anymore ....losing the will to live.....
